Copay Assistance Coordinator

Purpose: The Copay Assistance Coordinator will coordinate the member enrollment in the PillarRx Copay Assistance Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify utilizing patients, review history, determine next coverage date
  • Proof Print and mail patient welcome letters
  • Assist patient with enrollment in the manufacturer’s program
  • Maintain patient database for follow-up, tracking and reporting
  • Receive notification of new patient’s prior authorization/or review daily rejected and paid claims

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and/or GED with 2 to 3 years’ experience directly related to the duties listed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Professional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Preferred:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT.), preferred

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer
  • Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
