A History of Long-Term Success
PillarRx had been providing consulting services for this health plan for three years. The client was happy with their PBM from a pharmacy claim adjudication and member service perspective. However, PillarRx recommended a financial evaluation of their medical rebate vendor as additional savings opportunities were available.
The incumbent, as well as two other rebate aggregators, were solicited. PillarRx evaluated financial responses and potential rebate dollars based on member utilization. PillarRx provided detailed reporting to the client, allowing for a sound business decision.
If selected, the client could realize an increase in overall rebate dollars by $300,000. PillarRx continues to provide quarterly consulting services for this client.
